This weekend I went to visit my cousin in Chicago. I love this city. I used to live in Chicago for 2 years and I know the city pretty well. So during the visit I decided to do a little sightseeing and recommend some places to see.
An absolutely must-see in Chicago during your visit is Millennium Park: Great park and great views. YOU HAVE TO GO AT LEAST ONCE. Chicago’s architecture is a must-see, but don’t forget to tour this park as well. In fact, you still have beautiful views of the buildings surrounding you, so don’t worry if you can’t bear to part with them. The “bean” is a tourist hot-spot, and it was surprisingly way cooler than I anticipated it to be in person. Lots of places to walk and explore. Kid-friendly too. There were places to rollerblade, rock climb, play in the water fountain (if it’s hot), and there appeared to be an entire kid’s adventure-land to be explored as well. Very modern designs. There is an amphitheater too.
Also the park has many events. On the link below you can check the events and also learn more about Millennium Park and Chicago .
I admit I’m jealous that Chicago has so many cool green spaces and wonderful parks to enjoy. I really miss that in L.A.
I hope you enjoyed the post…til next time…
